What a knee battle is
Not a mood. A decision, made in a specific place, about a specific fight.
A knee battle is what happens when you stop rehearsing arguments in the shower and start bringing the actual fight — named, out loud, on purpose — to God. It usually needs three things people rarely have at the same time: somewhere to do it, something to say, and a reason to come back tomorrow. That is all this site is.
A place
A closet, a corner, a parked car. Ten minutes and almost no money. We will show you exactly what goes on the wall and why.
Build the room →A plan
Ten fronts where life actually gets attacked — with Scripture, one honest question, and a written prayer for each.
See the ten fronts →Words
For when you freeze. Beginner-friendly, no religious vocabulary required, and a guided timer that walks you through it.
When you don't know how →Verse for today
But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.
Matthew 6:6 (WEB)
It takes an afternoon
You do not need a spare room. You need a decided one.
Miss Clara had a closet. Susanna Wesley, with a house full of children, is said to have pulled her apron over her head. The point was never the square footage — it was that the place was decided in advance, so that showing up did not require a decision every single time.
The framework
Ten fronts where life actually gets attacked
Not ten steps to a better you. Ten places where people quietly lose ground — and a way to pray about each one that is specific enough to be answerable. Start wherever you already are.
The Fire
When prayer has gone cold and you do not want to pray at all.
2The Target
You are fighting your spouse, your boss, your kid — the wrong opponent.
3The Name
Who God says you are, when shame says otherwise.
4The House
Marriage, children, parents — the people under your roof.
5The Ledger
Guilt, regret, and the past you keep re-reading.
6The Night
Fear, anxiety, the three-in-the-morning spiral.
7The Eyes
Purity, screens, and what you feed yourself in private.
8The Weight
Money, work, debt, a job lost, a body tired.
9The Wound
What someone did to you, and forgiveness you cannot manufacture.
10The Table
Division between believers — friendly fire in the church and the family.

Thirty-one days
Come back tomorrow. That is the whole discipline.
One front-anchored prayer a day, one verse, one honest line. Check the day off when you have prayed it. If you miss a day, you start again on the next one — there is no penalty here, and no streak worth shaming yourself over.
Who this is for
If you have never really prayed
No vocabulary to learn and nothing to perform. Start with one honest sentence.
Read more →If you are fighting for someone
A spouse, a child, a parent. Pray by name, one thing at a time, for thirty days.

The fire goes out quietly and it is not a character flaw. Start at Front One.

The point of all of this
Prayer is the door. Jesus is the room.
You can build the best prayer space in your city and still be talking to the ceiling. Everything here assumes something first: that God came looking for you in person, in Christ, and that the conversation is open because He opened it. If you have never settled that, settle it before you do anything else on this site.
